The advantages of boron nitride ceramics are compared with that of alumina ceramics:
1 high temperature resistance, boron nitride long-term use temperature is 1800 degrees in vacuum, 2100 degrees under the atmosphere of long-term use. Alumina no more than 1700 degrees.
2 higher thermal shock resistance, rapid cooling and rapid high thermal is not cracking.
Boron nitride ceramics is taken out of 1000 degrees furnace and , continuous repeated 100 times,BN ceramic will not crack.
3 acid and alkali corrosion, electrical insulation is strong, anti electric shock is 3–4 times of alumina.
4 boron nitride ceramics with many metals, ceramics, rare earth and other materials do not react not to bond.
